"The road car version of the insanely-styled TVR Speed 12 has gone on sale.

Sadly there was only ever one road car built before the idea was shelved on the basis that it was too fast to sell to the general public.

Legends of Cheltenham has managed to get hold of the car and is selling it for an undisclosed sum.

According to Legends, TVR sold the car to its current owner in September 2003 after using it for publicity.

For the following three years it was developed with the help of the carmaker and the vehicle was only used around five times, including for the launch of the computer game Gran Turismo 4 and a test by EVO magazine.

It is said that there are now only two Speed 12s left, the other being a race car that ended up in Japan.

This car weighs 950kg and has 820bhp and 650 ft lbs of torque, which means a power to weight ratio twice that of a Bugatti Veyron."

Lol. I think this is the best colour ever, well certainly for a TVR. Though John Travolta's Swordfish TVR (which I believe he took back to America for a while).
